Where is Baga Beach
Baga beach lies in North Goa, 16 kms from the capital city of Goa- Panaji and 9 kms from Mapusa. It is an extension of the famous Calangute beach bordering to its south and Anjuna beach to its north.
It is one of the less crowded beaches of Goa as compared to the Anjuna beach, Calangute or Dona Paula Beach. Baga is a nice option if you are traveling with in large group with friends. If you looking for some isolated place for peace you are at the right place otherwise you can also indulge yourself in fun and frolic elsewhere on the same beach.
There are lot of fun activities that one can enjoy at the beach. Be ready for anythings :- locals asking for photographs with decorated cows, children selling different- different items on stalls, massage stalls, sea food, beach shacks and more. The beach is litter free however it is not that clean. Still all these interesting activities will keep you busy.
