Vaishno Devi Temple Tour



Everyone has listen the name of Vaishno Devi – one of the most visited pilgrimages in North India. The holy shrine of Maa Vaishno Devi is situated in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This holy Vaishno Devi temple is loated in a cave, set amidst the 5200 feet high Trikuta hills at a distance of 61 km from Jammu. Inside the cave there are three Pindis (deities) of Hindu Goddesses – Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Maa Saraswati.

To get to Vaishno Devi temple first you have to reach Katra from Jammu. A number of buses after every 10 minutes leave for Katra from Jammu. The journey of Vaishno Devi begins at Katra, from where the pilgrims have to cover a path of 13 kilometers to reach the shrine. Most of the pilgrims cover this distance on foot but those, who are unable to walk such distance, may hire horses, Palki or even helicopter as per their convenience and budget.
